“Accreditation Preparation Information” was held at Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Theology, requesting information on preparation for accreditation. IAA President Prof. Dr. Halis Aydemir informed the department heads as well as the faculty management on January 09, 2020. Members of the IAA Board of Directors Assoc. Dr. Rifat Turkel and Dr. Ömer Faruk Söylev took part in the Information team. After the meeting, the information team visited Rector Prof. Dr. Sait Bilgiç and informed him about the work of the IAA.
President Prof. Dr. Aydemir said that they have contacted many theology faculties in line with the quality policies and visions of the Agency and that they welcome the OMU Faculty of Theology to make an attempt to further raise the quality.
Thanking his guests for their visit, Rector Bilgiç also stated that the Agency has a pioneering role in terms of its establishment and the responsibility it assumes, and that it will make serious contributions to further increasing the educational quality of the theology faculties in Turkey.
Rector Bilgiç noted that they intensified their work in cooperation and coordination in order to include other units in the accreditation process, and that the Faculty of Theology took steps to be involved in this process.
