Within the scope of international accreditation, the site visit of Istanbul University Faculty of Theology was held between 04-07 December 2022. The international evaluation team, which arrived in Istanbul on Sunday, 04 December 2022, started its work with teamwork. The process, which started with the acceptance of the evaluation team by Prof. Dr. Mahmut Ak, Rector of Istanbul University, on Monday, December 05, 2022, continued with the meeting with Dean Prof. Dr. Ramazan Muslu. Then, the Quality and Accreditation Board, Faculty and Executive Board members, first group academic staff, first group students (Normal education students) and external stakeholders were interviewed and the faculty building was visited. On Tuesday, December 06, 2022, meetings were held with the second group of academic staff, the second group of students (students of the English theology program), alumni, administrative staff and the quality commission. On Wednesday, 07 December 2022, the site visit ended after the verbal announcement of the Exit Notification by Prof. Dr. Halis Aydemir, the head of the evaluation team, to the Faculty management. The site visit process was also observed by Prof. Dr. İlyas Gökhan, the monitoring officer of the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK).
