Rubric-Based Student Evaluator Training Was Conducted.

The Rubric-Based Student Evaluator Training was held on April 18, 2026. The training program began with a speech by the President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), Prof. Dr. Halis Aydemir. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Halis Aydemir emphasized the importance of being an İAA evaluator, the importance of the place of religious and Islamic sciences in the quality assurance system in higher education, and drew attention to the role of the evaluation system in spreading a quality culture. The opening speech was given by the President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak. Mr. Kocabıçak emphasized the developments in quality and accreditation in the world, in our country, and within (THEQC), as well as student processes, and highlighted the importance of digital and technological developments in accreditation processes. The program continued online throughout the day. During the training, İAA trainers conducted activities such as the Jigsaw Activity moderated by Prof. Dr. Halis Aydemir, the Theology Self-Assessment Report Activity moderated by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Türkan, and Assoc. Dr. [Name missing]. A Question Preparation Activity was conducted under the moderation of Bahar Çelik, and a Report Preparation Activity was conducted under the moderation of Prof. Dr. Rifat Türkel. The training was completed with a training and moderator evaluation survey at the end, and new student evaluators joined the IAA (International Association of Evaluators).
