International Accreditation Certificates Presented to Four Programs at Qatar University’s College of Sharia and Islamic Studies

The College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Qatar University has been awarded international accreditation for its Qur’an and Sunnah, Creed and Da‘wah, Fiqh and Usul, and Islamic Studies programs by the Islamic Sciences Accreditation Agency (IAA). The accreditation certificates were formally presented during an official ceremony held at the college.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Halis Aydemir, President of the Islamic Sciences Accreditation Agency; Prof. Dr. Rifat Türkel, Vice President; Prof. Dr. Ahmet Türkan, Member of the IAA Board; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahar Çelik, IAC Secretary. From Qatar University, President Dr. Omar Al Ansari, Dean of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Al Ansari, associate deans, department heads, faculty members, administrative staff, and students were also present.

The program began with a recitation of the Qur’an, followed by opening remarks from Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Al Ansari, Dean of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, and Qatar University President Dr. Omar Al Ansari. Afterward, IAA President Prof. Dr. Halis Aydemir delivered his address.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the international accreditation certificates and accredited program logos for the four programs were presented to university and college leadership by IAA President Prof. Dr. Halis Aydemir.
