The international accreditation field visit of Sakarya University Faculty of Theology, which is in the re-evaluation process, was carried out between April 27-30. The international evaluation team, which arrived in the city on Saturday, April 26, began its work. On Monday, April 28, 2025, Sakarya University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Halit Yaşar and Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Hasan Meydan were met. Then, members of the Quality and Accreditation Board, Faculty and Board of Directors, academic staff, students and external stakeholders were met, and the faculty building was toured. On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, meetings were held with alumni, administrative staff and the quality commission. The field visit ended on Wednesday, April 30, after the verbal announcement of the Exit Notice by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahar Çelik, the head of the evaluation team.
